What is a Meal Plan?
A Meal Plan unlocks delicious meals, coffee, snacks, and more, at all of our locations across campus. Your Meal Plan includes Meal Swipes and Dining Dollars, conveniently loaded onto your campus one card. No need to carry additional cards or cash!
Meal Swipes
Meal swipes give you access to our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall, Waldron Café, and to Valley Pizza Company, our café that offers made to order pizzas and Starbucks coffee
M.E.R.V. Bucks
M.E.R.V. bucks may be used at any GMercyU Hospitality location. All of our plans include M.E.R.V. Bucks, which can be redeemed at dining spots around campus without using a meal. Visit our locations page for location information, including dining hall menus and hours of operation. It’s the perfect solution when you’re between classes and looking for a snack or cup of coffee.
Meal Exchange
Beginning in the Fall of 2024, you may also use one Meal Swipe per day at Valley Pizza Co. for a full meal solution which includes one entrée and one fountain beverage. Cash Equivalency will continue to be utilized in the Spring of 2024 towards the purchase of a meal at Valley Pizza Co. Cash Equivalency rates are: $9.50 for mobile ordering or $6.25 at Valley Pizza Co. .
Flex Dollars
Using your student ID, you can establish a Flex Dollar Account, which acts as a debit account for purchases you make on campus. The balance on your account is carried forward each semester until you graduate or formally withdraw from the University.
You can purchase flex dollars at the Campbell Solution Center or online through eAccounts on the GMercyU Portal. You can purchase any amount but any purchase over $50 will receive a 10% enhancement, which means a $50 purchase will put $55 on your card.

- Coming Fall 2024 - Dedicated True Balance Allergen Friendly station at Waldron Café.
- To-go meals: simply request a to-go box when you swipe in at any of our dining halls.
Managing Your Plan
There are three ways you can check your Meal Swipes and M.E.R.V. Bucks balance:
- On the MyGMercyU portal
- On your receipt after a purchase at any dining location
- Call the Griffin Dining office at 267-448-1328 anytime Monday-Friday 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M
